Comment:

 I think the correct formula would be:

 4.46 rating:

 (4.46*16)+(3*floor(4.46)) = 83.36

 where:

 16 is the width of a star and 3 is the width of the blank space between
 stars.

 Using this formula the correct value will always be reflected in the star
 rating.

 Currently a 4.46 rating looks rather like a 4.35 properly rendered rating.
