 Question: When the removal notice is sent, does the profiles site
 basically just remove the activity associated with the initial add notice?
 So, if I am a speaker, and then not a speaker, does any record of being a
 speaker remain in the activities list?

 If so, then instead of adding/removing from the group, could we not simply
 select across the activity log to see if any speaker activities still
 exist at all? If the removal removes it, then they will continue to have
 the badge because another exists that was not removed. This could be a
 very simple select to display the badge or not, and eliminate the group
 need.
