 I may be in the minority with @nacin, but I have a few plugins in the repo
 and will sometimes login on my phone to reply to someones support forum
 post.

 I think the hidden login form with the ability to scroll it out is a good
 solution. Would give a bit more flexibility with the form styling as well.
