[wp-hackers] The Search Initiative project for gsoc 2014

I am a computer science student from India  and would like to take up "the search initiative project" from the ideas page. 


I went through the documentation and irc log regarding "the search initiative" project about unifying all search forms into a global search.I will be glad to contribute to the project and carry it forward. 

I have proficient knowledge of php and javascript .
