[wp-hackers] Method for adding additional percentage values to image editor?

I'm looking for a way to add additional options to the image editor's percentage reduction buttons. Currently the smallest is 60%, but 50% would be very useful for those of us working with high-density images for Retina displays. I haven't been able to find anything in the Codex for modifying this. 

Any ideas?
