[wp-hackers] Idea- Rethinking Wordpress theme editor

@kokarn and @otto,
I agree that there are workarounds and tools to deal with the issue of
saving the changes made through firebug or similar tools, but as i have
mentioned in my blog(in the section - why another firebug ? )  also, that a
tool like firebug is only the first step to it.
The whole idea is to extend it further to provide more flexibility in
editing and providing a better user experience for the process, and not
just an interface to edit the CSS rules.
Another way i think the project is very useful is that having such
functionalities exposed to other developers would help in extending the
idea further and into more useful tools, where they can integrate the
functionalities of this project into their extensions.
I can not give the whole overview of the idea in the mail as it would
become too long and difficult to read, is why i have written the posts.
