Not much yet,
but it depends on the mentors interest for Courseware project I started
last year and apparently profiles.wordpress.org idea.

I'm just trying to find something, both useful and interesting.

Anyway, I wish you good luck with the application.
Make sure you checkout the GlotPress codebase before applying.
