Olá, reconheci você do Fórum tb!

Já consegui resolver o problema dos campos, acho que deveriam explicar 
melhor como usar isso dentro das funções sei lá. Eu uso os widgets padrão do 
WordPress como exemplo, mas tem uns também meio mal-feitos acho.

reconheci pelo nome, prazer, também sou moderador por lá, já fui mais ativo
mas a correria do dia a dia as vezes não permite. Tem uma lista brasileira
que é bem ativa, não sei se conhece (
http://groups.google.com/group/wordpress-brasil) se estiver interessada em
aprender a desenvolver plugins e temas WP (funções para tema) te aconselho
participar, smepre que tiver uma dúvida certeza de que alguém te ajudará por
lá.

Agora sobre o tópico, como o pessoal disse um plugin nada mais é que um
sistema em PHP programado para interagir com o WordPress, como disse que não
sabe nada de programação meu conselho é que comece lendo sobre PHP. Se
quiser eu posso te ajudar, se você tiver a idéia de um plugin podemos tentar
desenvolver juntos, vou comentando o código e explicando cada etapa, pode
ser que funcione.
