Plus, afaik, the profiles are listed also as a gsoc project, and one of
the "hot" feature requests for that is some karma rating (you give
feedback on trac/you commit/you validate or contribute a translation/or
get @props -> your karma grows).

Though I don't know if profiles.wordpress.org are still on top priority
list. Last year there was uncertainty about changing/improving them, but
I might be wrong...
