[wp-hackers] redirection problem

I've got a site that need needs to use some 301 redirection.

The problem is that the old site used a different URL structure
(this.aspx?cat=120) and when I type in that URL (since it's not in the
database) I get a 404 page.

Does anyone have any ideas?

The .htaccess method doesnt work because that content is not in the DB.  I
tried the redirection plugin and killed my original rewrite rules and
notihng worked...
