[wp-hackers] looking for opinions on php5-only plugins

I dropped support for PHP4 early on.

I still get comments from people getting parser errors, even though they
"are running PHP5". The thing is that their admin panel is saying PHP5, but
the environment is PHP4. I hate hosts that do that!

I tell them to do a var_dump(PHP_VERSION); and they are surprised to find
out that it's 4.*.
