Otto,
That's great, I'm not looking to re-invent something that's already
solved. I was not aware of it, and I know that some developers at
least, aren't doing this properly, because I have seen duplicate scripts
loaded before in WP. Clearly this is the fault of the developer,
though. If the is a framework put forth for implementing front end
performance improvements, it should include a section on how to use the
existing script queuing functions to avoid duplicate scripts.
