[wp-hackers] Have a single page for bookmark

I want to use WP mainly as a directory, and put bookmarks on the home
page, and have single page for each bookmark

www.site.com?link_category=3  works ok (with a
register_taxonomy('link_category','link',array('hierarchical' => true,
'rewrite' => $rewrite)); )
www.site.com?link_id=5 doesn't work

Is there an easy way to create a single page for bookmark
I tried many ways
site.com?link_id=5 .. site.com?link=5 ...
and with or without (permalink on + addr_rewrite_tag +
$wp_rewrite->add_permastruct() )
