[wp-hackers] Load Balancing | Media Uploads to Multiple Servers

Just had a quick chat with the sysadmin at Positive Internet, who was
very helpful. Apparently the solution uses csync [1], which is similar
to rsync but has a small database which enables it to "be a bit
smarter". The syncing on this system is set to every five minutes,
although we did discuss upping the frequency a bit more on
wp-content/uploads perhaps, also discussed was putting a single file
system (I assume he meant NAS) to serve both servers. I'm also going
to be advising the client to ensure they "wait a bit" after uploading
before clicking publish. :)
Hope this helps you out.
