[wp-hackers] Feature or bug: Page password protection does not cascade to sub-pages

1) Pages aren't directories.
2) Directory contents can have different permissions than their
parents. chmod and chown aren't recursive by default.

This is plugin territory in my view (actually, the whole idea of
passworded pages really should be a plugin; few people need it, and
while a permissions system is definitely worth having in core, stuff
built on top of it can generally just be plugins).
