[wp-hackers] Proposal: Twitter Support in Core

There are tens of Twitter plugins and after a survey I've found that none of them are fully reliable nor do they store their content in ways that is accessible or robust. 

So I suggest we develop and implement Twitter support in core. Twitter support would include a robust API and repository for supporting all the future (updated) Twitter plugins.
