Sorry, then it seems I misunderstood what you ment, for me it sounded just
like giving them the possibility to put the plugin pages wherever they like
them whenever they like to...

I don't think they would but you can not be too sure about that one (they
have done some - in my uneducated opinion - totally misleading UI decisions
before, while WP has still one of the best open source UIs available) -
while I have to say - they could do it today too...
Just interpreted your message as something about the "Matt disagrees with
this" stuff... and I just think it doesn't really matter what Matt thinks,
when it comes to plugins which are their authors territory...
