That was my guess too. Based on commit notes, I think RC2 was r7521  
and RC1 was r7408.

WP 2.5 appears to have been released this morning but hasn't been  
tagged yet. It's r7566?

SVN copies are very lightweight, it would seem like a good practice to  
keep snapshots of all named releases, even dev milestones, noted  
somewhere. If for nothing more than the history of the project.
