Ok, I admit, That was a huge assumption on my behalf.
4 million downloads of WordPress in 2007, and theres a lot more installs
of WordPress around the web i'm sure
I personally, without numbers, Doubt a majority of those users use a
desktop application, Allmost everyone *I* know are avoiding using desktop
applications if there's a Web-based equivilent, I'd guess that we both
come from different demographics,
Theres allways going to be a % using offline clients, And theres going to
be an increased % using Web-based non-WP blogging interfaces, but AFAIK,
the API's are not currently the primary access method of most of the users.
