No UI for it made it into 2.6 as Ryan wanted it to be done properly -- i.e.
an upload box. See this ticket: http://trac.wordpress.org/ticket/6802

However, you can still add your own via the filter as documented in my
previous link. It's really simple and you can just drop that bit of code
into your theme's functions.php or a plugin.
