[wp-hackers] Akismet going spastic

Has anyone else noticed Akismet going spastic lately?

In the past two weeks, it has let through about 10 spam comments
_per_day_.

This happened to me and a few others between 6 and 12 months ago, if I
remember correctly. Matt M. put me in a special watch queue to see what
was going on, but I don't know what came of that.
