[wp-hackers] Uploading media in wordpress

I second that. I loath the image uploader. I hate that it used to work  
fine until someone decided to slap jquery all over it and make it slow  
and totally unusable. One shouldn't have to use a plugin for a basic  
function that should work reasonably well out of the box.
