[wp-hackers] no ajax for page custom fields?

I'm noticing that several wordpress 2.5.1 and 2.6 blogs don't have the
ajax when you add/update/delete a custom field on pages although it
appears to be working on posts. Any particular reason why? This would
be a HUGE time saver not to have a page refresh when adding a dozen
custom fields!
