I have found in the past that 3pst (10pm GMT) works better for around the world meetings.  Noon which seems to be popular = too early (3-5am ) Asian time thus rules out any contributors from Asia / Australia, it is a fine balance getting the three Major Zones but the midday pst meetings just rules us out.
