One of the problems I've been trying to pin down is formatting of  
source code.  If someone pastes a chunk of code in there it is  
usually indented to various levels.  At this point TinyMCE will  
always remove those.

One way to get around that is for the author to mark it as pre- 
formatted.  Have you found a way to preserve spaces without having to  
set pre-formatted?
