[wp-hackers] WPMU: Moblogging?

Hi all, especially the µ people,

I wonder whether there is a feature in WPMU to enable users to publish
posts per e-mail, just as this is possible in "normal" WordPress. As I
read in the WPMU forums[1], there seems to have been such a feature, but
it appears to be removed.

Now I wonder: Is there actually such a feature? If it was, but is no
longer, why was it removed? Are the MU devs interested in a new
implementation?
