It looks like there's a plugin for WordPress at least[1] (though I
haven't installed it to test, yet). I see one that looks like a
provider for Mu[2], but not a consumer (again, haven't tested).

Hmm, looks like WordPress.com is an OpenID provider (I didn't know
that!), but I don't know if they're a consumer (I don't have an OpenID
nor a WordPress.com account to test; I don't particularly want
either :p). In any case, you're right -- being a provider at the very
least is leverage for getting the consumer part in.


Note that this still doesn't change the fact that users have to
separately authenticate with each service on your site (even if they're
all OpenID-enabled, and even if all the user has to do is enter their
OpenID URL). So, the "site-wide SSO" issue still stands, even though
it's less obnoxious :).
