[wp-hackers] New WP profile page

Hello there

Something I've always missed is integration of user profiles into the site 
rather than the admin area. I don't want readers to leave my blog for a 
generic wp-admin/user page my theme has no control over. Drupal does it, 
MT seems to be doing something similar (and more) [1]

The idea I'd like to throw around is: what about a new file template for 
themes, say profile.php, that would if exists be used to display & manage 
your profile (as it is now: password, url, aim etc)

Any thought on this? On what it would imply, require, ... ?
