My point was not about browsers, but people. Yes, all browsers had
bookmarks forever. But many people, even those who used the web for a
few years now, hardly know of this useful functionality. And even if
they know, they don't use it.
It's like address books and reminders in mobile phones. There are in
there for years now. But there is still a huge crowd of people who
have no idea about this functions and how to use them.

I appologise. I live in a multicultural country. People often joke
here at those who speak rare languages, that they are just swearing -
they use a rare language so that nobody understands them. Similarly,
with technical terms - many terms which you and I are very used to,
sound to many people foreign and aggressive.

That's the point. They don't know what a blogroll is. Even if they
use it every day. Many of them don't know what a bookmark is, even
though they had it just front of their face for years... For them, I
think, "link" is the most friendly and familiar term. :)
