Actually, (dv) users do have a PHP 5 option, and it's relatively
simple to setup on a per-domain basis -- just create a copy of the
FastCGI binary, and add a few vhost.conf entries (kind of like
the .htaccess config options). It isn't exactly user-friendly, but if
you feel you need a dedicated server, you probably know a thing or
two about setting things up yourself. ;)
Personally, I just downloaded my own version of PHP 5 with Yum,
because I wanted a newer version that was more easily updated (which
is another easy option to getting PHP 5 on a (dv)).
