[wp-hackers] Paste images into editor

Hello list. I'm a long time viewer, but not much of a participator.

I was wondering if there is any chance of beeing able to paste images
directly into the the editor in the future, or is it a browser limitation?

I've tested with two editors (TinyMCE and ***Dean's FCKEditor For
Wordpress
<http://www.deanlee.cn/wordpress/fckeditor-for-wordpress-plugin/>*), and
three browsers (IE, Opera and Firefox). The closest I came to getting a
result is this with Firefox and FCKEditor:

I'd like to just edit a picture in Photoshop and then copy a section of
that picture straight into a post without creating a file and uploading
it. Is it technically possible or do I have to use an external program
for it?
