FYI, I've hacked Benjamin Smedberg's Atom 1.0 plug-in to make this a 
per-site configurable option and submitted the changes back to that 
plug-in author. I don't think he's incorporated them yet, though. It 
would be nice to make this a per-post option as well.

If people are really interested I could zip up and publish my version 
until he does.
