So what's recommended?

Gotta admit that I'm interested here as I'm planning on moving my WPMu
installs to a server when i get some new ones this summer.  I believe
I'm using ext3 on Fedora 3 installs but don't quote me.

I'm also hitting it on FreeBSD as well.
