[wp-hackers] Plugin to Remove Extra Whitespace

I'm using a WYSIWG comment editor, and hundreds of comments on my site end
up like this:

Ouaouoau

Aouoau

Just wondering if anyone knows of a comment to filter out these useless
whitespace thingies (both the blank spaces and the nbsps are converted to
whitespace in the comment thanks to WP's dual-action markup system). If not
I'll write one when I get the time, seems quite trivial.
