I'm not a theme developer (though I have designed a few for clients and
hacked others themes), however, I'd be willing to volunteer for QC regarding
the above mentioned repository.  It sure would be nice to have a
couple of "official" locations for themes and the like.

I'd also be willing to try to work
with theme authors regarding SVN.  It'll be a good exercise because
I'm just starting on SVN myself so I have the "new user" perspective.
It seems pretty straight forward from what I can tell so far.
