Nah, he wants what ubernyms >uses< which is the DomTT library:

You should be able to spit custom html into the tooltip, where the html is 
generated by one of the two (or three) social plugins.

You can use the ubernyms plugin (wp2 compatible)

You can define the text to be shown in tooltip. specify the links you
wanna shown as part of that text :)
