[wp-hackers] colgroup unusable

It's been mentioned that colgroup is still not usable in a blog entry (see
http://wordpress.org/support/topic/65115). This has been mentioned in the
past and a patch had been made which was supposed to have addressed this
issue: http://trac.wordpress.org/changeset/1914

I've tried it on my test installation and it still appears to be outstanding
despite the change. Any ideas before I file this as a bug?
