[wp-hackers] Feeddemon and RSS

Lol... you should see IE7 Beta 2 and the way _it_ handles RSS, it puts even
Minefield's handling to shame, it's just so beautiful!

Anyway, I don't think the issue here is just the two letters, 70 ASCII keys
apart, it's the reason behind them.
This time it's two letters, but next time how do you know they won't require
a different MIME type or an extra file? There was _no reason_ to change the
standards from commentRss to commentRSS, just pure whimsical wishy-washy
feelings - sure, it doesn't look right, but they should have thought of that
from the beginning.. it's kinda obvious if you get what I'm saying.

I'm sure it is, and the 'Content Encoded / CDATA' thing could be rolled into
this thread. Seeing as a new version is not so far away, and seeing as we
are talking two letters, no coding, no filename changes then is it worth
doing? I posted here because other readers may offer this now / in the
future and as such why not discuss it.

And as a sidenote, Bon Echo (the Firefox 2 dev) handles feeds very
gracefully. Displays them well and also has no problem with 'feed:'
