How about 'tiering' them? Either using categories or by separation to
different blogs. At the moment, in order to get insight into less major
(or severe) announcements, one needs to syndicate blogs of the principal
developers, notably Matt and Ryan. There are several existing sites that
offer different feeds, which compose different amounts of information,
depending on importance. As I perceive it, to keep track of WordPress one
needs to:
| * Subscribe to WordPress.org
| * Subscribe to WordPress developer blogs
| (feeds filtered by category/search)
| * Subscribe to trac/svn mailing lists
| * Subscribe to developers mailing lists
| * Subscribe to support forums
| * ...

Lower 'signal-to-noise' ratio
Best wishes,
Roy
