[wp-hackers] any hook to add label at the top of the editor

Hi Mark,
admin_notices hook works. Thank you. How to access the $post global inside
the hooked function? I need to retrieve meta data for the post. But, $post
does not seem accesible. "global $post; print_r($post);" does not print
anything.
