Looks I've finally sorted it out...
You can download from cvs as usual with

of course I must say the version I've uploaded is not anymore the one I'm 
working on; I'm working now on a "pluggable" control panel, which has not 
been committed yet, as it is still completely broken (catastrophic crash 
:( ).

Anyway I'd be glad if someone would like to have a look at the code, that, 
while still messy and needing a LOT of polishing (and this is why we didn't 
release anything), I think has got some nice ideas :)
