Oops sorry for the blank reply.

 

An API wouldn't be difficult to do - however, storing all the MP3s on our
server is something I was hoping to avoid where possible as the more storage
we need, the more it costs me!!

Sounds like you need an API for the service. That would ultimately mean
fewer systems to support and open up for developers to write
extensions/plugins for whatever service or site they want to use. 

It's a thought anyway. Sounds like a great service.
