This used to be mentioned on the WordPress "about" page, but I can't
see it there any more. A quick search of the support forums reveals
that the font is Dante:

http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/linotype/dante-mt/

Unfortunately it's a commercial font (why do free software projects
use commercial fonts? Debian does this as well) so you'd have to pay
for it or find a clone that was similar (not always too difficult, I'd
suggest asking in comp.fonts on Usenet).
