You are a life saver. I actually remember reading your post when I installed
APC a couple of weeks ago (did it on my test server for benchmarking
purposes) and couldn't find it again. I want to get everything set on my
test server before we do the upgrade on our production servers. So far
running Apache-2.2.3, PHP5 with APC and MySQL 5.0.24 seems to be handling a
decent load.

APC and WP-Cache2 don't play together well, by default.  I found a  
solution and posted it here:
