[wp-hackers] the_time Vs the_date functions

Hi guys,

I was just wondering if anyone knows why the following is happening  
on both my wp 1.5.2 and wp 2.0 beta installations.

If I use in my theme the following situations i get the following  
results.
This results happen everywhere but the single.php file.

	the_time(); of the_date();
in some posts i get not always i get a time but no date.
if i change it to the following
	the_time('G:i'); of the_time('l F jS Y');
it works in all the posts all the time.

I was wondering why is this?
