[wp-hackers] XML parsing and PHP

Does anyone know of a good walkthrough to go through parsing XML with
PHP? What i'm looking to do is parse an XML file only for certain
values, not all of them so the only method I have found a howto on
parsed through every valuein the xml file and stored it in a database,
not really what i'm wanting to do and didn't help me very much =/
