I think it translates fine with poEdit.  It works in my Finnish
WordPress installations.

I did build a new pot file at one point, when the official one was
behind.  I'm not sure which one is more recent, but you could try
and compare the pot file in fi_FI to see if it makes a difference.

I don't think it will make any difference, though.

Btw, we need trac or something similar for the i18n repo!!  :-)
