Go right ahead! It sounds like a good idea.

I took a look at your attached screenshot, though, and.. uh, I'm not 
sure you're using the link manager correctly... (or maybe I'm not)...

It looks as though you're using it for sort of a sidenotes or asides 
storage... I thought it was to be used as a static blogroll ? (Which 
makes it useless for me, btw)
