Ok, so I revised the logos a bit more. I got to sort of polish them the
way I wanted to. I refined the W in the circle to fit in better,
tightened up the letters and spacing for the Word and Press. I also got
rid of the old mixed case that felt to light, and replaced it with a
much stronger mixed case.

I also tried a couple with word and press together.
I feel like the middle one from the first link
(http://jasonsantamaria.com/client/wordpress/05.02.05/wp_logo_4.00.gif)
is really solid. I use to like the all uppercase version before, but
once I switched to the stronger mixed case, this one just felt right.
It's strong and elegant at the same time. The top one (with the double
rules) is just an interesting variant.
As for the word and press together
(http://jasonsantamaria.com/client/wordpress/05.02.05/
wp_logo_4.01.gif), I don't believe these to be as strong. Under the
current logo direction, the W in the circle had to get a bit smaller to
balance out and, in my opinion, the logo started to fall apart. Permit
me to pry a little, do people seem to spell it "wordpress",
"WordPress", or "Word Press"? What I am getting at is, is it more
important to stress the idea that there are two words (joined or not)
or to dissuade people from making it one word?
Those are just my collected thought, we can discuss your thoughts on on
the phone these when you have some free time in the next day or two
(assuming you are free). That's it or now :D
