I can see RSS link for e.g.  : http://wordpress.org/support/rss/theme/mywiki 
Now do I need a RSS reader script ? Isn't there an automated way :(

go to http://wordpress.org/support/theme/your-theme-name/ and there will find "RSS link for this theme's support threads." link from where you could subscribe to the support treads :)

There is also an option to subscribe to RSS feed for the theme's support threads

You can find notifications link in your profile page, just add your required keywords or phrase to get email alerts.
